Today was our first full day in Chicago and our only day so we have had to fit in everything Chicago has to offer. So that meant a early start, luckily due to the time difference we were awake at 7 am. We decided to take a walk to Lou Mitchell's, a dinner that's at the start of Route 66 and has been serving food since 1923 so they must be doing something right. After that great start we headed out to walk to the museum district through Grant park and along the shore of Lake Michigan then onto Millennium Park to see the giant bean. Next we decided to get warm by going for a walk around Macy's, after a good half an hour we were ready to set off walking again, it was almost lunch time so obviously it had to be pizza, someone Kiri works with.
