The 2017 Gift Guide from the chef behind The American Table I like my glasses to be sturdy, functional and elegant. If a woman dies and nobody wants to inherit her china, is it still worth $100 a place setting. Travel to an antique store and the price bumps up to around $200, but that’s much cheaper than the $2,000 a set of china costs when it’s brand new.
