, the city is beginning to bustle with diverse flavors, but a restaurant specializing in one particular type of cuisine has been missing: Korean. Not one, but two orders of dumplings kicked off my evening of delectable Korean cuisine. Dumplings are one of my favorite foods, so I was very eager to see how the fried dumplings were perfectly golden brown, each providing just enough crunch to contrast the spongy, meaty inside. But, delivered in a bamboo steamer basket, the steamed dumplings stole the show. Each was plumply stuffed with meat and veggies, and I pocketed each dumpling whole in my mouth, not wanting to risk any loss of flavorful steam by taking a bite. Sides consisting of little individual bowls of kimchi, pickled radish and spicy cucumber were dropped off as I ate my way through the dumplings, and, if I so desired, could be refilled as I began my entree.
